Tdp to Stage a Protest Against Ec
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Thursday arranged a protest over Election Commission's choice to lead re-polling in five all the more polling booths in Andhra Pradesh.
State Minister Amarnath Reddy, TDP candidate from Chandragiri Assembly constituency Pulivarthy Nani and different leaders and gathering workers organized a sit-in outside the workplace of sub-collector in Tirupati.
The TDP leaders scrutinized the poll body's choice to hold re-polling after over a month. They affirmed that the EC was aimlessly following up on the protests of the YSR Congress Party.
The EC on Wednesday requested re-polling in five polling stations in Chandragiri constituency.
Re-polling in these five booths for both Chandragiri Assembly seat and Chittoor (Scheduled Caste) Lok Sabha seat will be held between 7 a.m. furthermore, 5 p.m. on May 19.
This pursued a grumbling by active MLA from Chandragiri and YSR Congress Party candidate Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy that voters of one specific network were not permitted to throw their votes on April 11.
