Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy challenged the notion that only the affluent can excel in politics, emphasizing that sometimes, it's quite the opposite.
Speaking at an alumni meeting and graduation day celebrations at BR Ambedkar Law College in Hyderabad, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted the remarkable journey of an MLA who once lived in a modest Indiramma house, illustrating that the path to political success is not reserved for the privileged. This MLA is among the 64 Congress members in the Telangana Legislative Assembly.
Prominent figures, including ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and D Sridhar Babu, as well as Congress MLAs, graced the event. Reddy attributed the Congress party's growth in the state to the unwavering support of the Telangana people, reaffirming the government's commitment to making Telangana a national role model.
Drawing a comparison between MLAs Vivek and Vinod, the sons of G Venkataswamy, Reddy commended their commitment to social responsibility, stating that their father's legacy was about giving back to society.
