Telangana: Cops Urge Cyber Fraud Victims To Reach The Wing Quickly

A complaint in time saves your money. Well, most of the time.
State police, especially the Cybercrime wings in the 3 commissioners in the capital region, is now focused on recovering money stolen by fraudsters in cybercrime incidents. It is crucial to act before the cash reaches their bank accounts.
The police are trying to act immediately after a complaint is lodged; after that, the State Police and 2 facilities of the union ministry of home affairs coordinate the action.
Cybercrime reporting can be done via the MHA's toll-free helpline, 1930, and its website, https://cybercrime.gov.in.
As per officials, these two facilities have been proven to help deal with cyber crooks and recover money stolen from the bank accounts of cybercrime victims.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has set up a helpline and a reporting platform to prevent financial losses associated with cyber fraud. This serves as a bridge between the State police and banks for sharing online fraud-related information for taking real-time action. The network is operational round the clock.
Officials say that when interstate cyber fraudsters from Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, and West Bengal are caught and put behind bars, it will act as deterrence to other gangs.
