Telangana Firm On The Expansion Of IT Sector To Tier-II Cities: KTR

Minister KT Rama Rao said that the State government’s policy was to expand the presence of the IT sector in tier-II cities across Telangana.
While interacting with employees of NTT Data Solutions and BDNT Labs here, the Minister expressed happiness about the establishment of software companies in the backward district headquarters.
CM Rao's vision led to the development of Adilabad, he said, because the district had been deprived of development activities during the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. It was Sanjay Pandy who came forward to found the software companies in Adilabad, which he appreciated.
According to him, young people in Adilabad would be able to compete with Bengaluru and Hyderabad if they were provided with opportunities. He also said tier-II cities like Karimnagar, Warangal, Nalgonda, Khammam, and Nizamabad have the infrastructure and are conducive to setting up software companies.
Rama Rao was pleased to learn that employees of NTT Data Solutions and BDNT Labs were from Adilabad and surrounding villages and were now working for multinationals in America and many other countries.
He assured the sanctioning of a dedicated power transformer to the firms and promised to grant Rs 1.5 crore for renovating the building.
