Telangana Moving Ahead In Medical Education: KTR

With a withering attack on the BJP Government for failing to sanction a single medical college in Telangana, Industries, Minister KT Rama Rao said State CM K Chandrashekhar Rao was scripting history in medical education in Telangana by sanctioning 16 new medical colleges, and proposals were afoot to set up 13 more colleges.
KCR Government is aiming to establish one medical college in each district across the State.
The Minister on Sunday tweeted, “CM KCR Garu is scripting History in medical education. Before 2014, in 67 years, only five Government medical colleges were set up in Telangana. In the last eight years, 16 new Medical colleges were sanctioned and 13 more to be set up, making it one medical college per district”.
Sharing clicks of medical colleges at Mahabubabad, Wanaparthy, Sangareddy, Ramagundem, Nagarkurnool, and Jagtiyal that were almost completed. He said that colleges at Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, Siddipet, and Nalgonda have already started functioning. The Minister tweeted that the medical college in Kothagudem would be inaugurated shortly.
Later, the KTR shared the image of zero and tweeted, “Now, let me tell you how many medical colleges our PM Modi Ji sanctioned to Telangana.
