Telangana Police Department Donates Over Rs 11 Crore to Flood Relief
The Telangana police department contributed Rs 11.06 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to aid flood relief efforts. Director General of Police Jitender and other senior police officials presented the cheque to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday. The donation was made through a contribution from police officers' salaries.
This gesture followed Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s Rs 1 crore donation to the CMRF on the same day, as both leaders met to discuss ongoing flood recovery initiatives.
