Telangana attracted investments of Rs 21,000 crore during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The journey to Davos by a group led by Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao was successful, and the minister's attempts to attract investment to the state have been successful.
An official statement on Saturday stated that Telangana garnered investments of Rs 21,000 crore across several industries during the recently finished annual World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos, Switzerland.
It was reported that a group led by Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao returned from Davos with success, adding that the minister's attempts to attract investments to the state had been successful.
All of the WEF discussions were quite fruitful, and the summit brought in a total of Rs 21,000 crore, according to Rama Rao.
The minister visited round tables, spoke at panel discussions, and participated in meetings with major global organisations during the four-day tour to present Telangana's growth story and pitch for investments. He also gave his opinions on a wide range of topics.
In addition, the minister engaged in interactions with Zurich's Indian community and spoke to NRIs there about Telangana's advancement.
Telangana was able to get some significant investments while the world economy was on the verge of recession.
