Telangana discoms are in danger of failing: Sharmila

On Sunday, Y.S. Sharmila, the leader of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP), charged that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had caused "a severe and grave power crisis" in the state.
Sharmila accused him of "continually faking" that Telangana is a power-surplus state and said that the discoms are currently neck-deep in debt to the tune of Rs 50,000 crore as a result of the KCR government's "mismanagement and myopic outlook."
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was charged of dangerously putting the State into a power crisis by YS Sharmila. She claimed that as a result of KCR government mismanagement, the discoms are buried in debt. She said that the whole agricultural community was forced into a power crisis when speaking to the media during her Padayatra in the Jangaon area. She stated: "Discoms are dissolving due to insolvency. Load shedding will also occur in the home sector. YSRTP requests that CM KCR produce a white paper on the state's electricity problem "added she.
During her current Padayatra in the Jangaon area, she spoke to the media and declared: "This is a flagrant and crass show of KCR's ineptitude and shortsightedness. Not even five hours of assured power supply are available to the state's whole Agri community, which is terrible.
