Telangana elections: KTR rides Metro, discusses Hyderabad's future
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao interacted with commuters on the Hyderabad Metro Rail from Raidurgam to Begumpet on Friday as part of his election campaign.
Rama Rao entering the subway and taking pictures astonished people. He spoke to people throughout his 20-minute ride. A passenger who works in a German biotechnology business informed Rama Rao that Telangana's industry was growing competitively. Several medical students spoke to him.
A Kerala resident on a three-day visit claimed Hyderabad was better than he expected from the internet. Traveling in the city seemed like traveling abroad, according to the Kerala resident.
He also demanded mandatory voting from first-time voters. With an hour on November 30, a decent party may be elected for five years, he remarked. He presented his vision for Hyderabad's future at the 'Real Estate Summit' in Hyderabad before that.
He also highlighted Hyderabad's transformation and Telangana's overall progress in the previous nine years, a strategy the government hopes to implement after establishing the government for the third time on December 3, 2023. KTR said that IT exports surged from Rs 57,000 crore in 2014 to Rs 2,41,000 crore in 2023.
