Telangana is going to be the first Indian state to enact anti-cybercrime laws.
According to IT Minister KT Rama Rao, their state is working on introducing special cybercrime laws, making them the first in the nation to do so. He promised that the guidelines will be issued as soon as possible, saying that they were already being prepared by the NALSAR University.
The State government, according to the Minister, is currently bringing IT firms to the historic district of the city. After receiving 12 acres from the R&B buildings department, he claimed construction on an IT tower in Malakpet may begin soon. Two to four firms have been settled on already.
While we are establishing the groundwork for the Malakpet IT Tower, we want to sign memorandums of understanding with five or six enterprises," Rama Rao added.
