Telangana will establish the world's biggest Aqua Hub in Sircilla.

The Mid Manair Dam in Rajanna Sircilla, Telangana, is now being developed into the world's biggest integrated freshwater aqua centre.
IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao announced on Tuesday that the integrated freshwater aqua centre will result in yearly exports of more than Rs 1,000 crore and provide direct and indirect employment for 4,800 and 7,000 people, respectively.
Fish seed production, feed production, cage culture, and fish processing would all be housed at one central facility. During his stop in Sircilla on Tuesday, he tweeted that the planned complex will include hatcheries, feed production units, fish processing plants, export-oriented logistics, as well as testing and R&D facilities.
A total of 300 acres would be used for the project, with 150 acres of the reservoir's 1,500-acre water spread area already designated for the development.
Three companies, Fishin India Private Limited, Rajanna Aqua (Nanda group), and Mulpuri Aqua, have committed Rs 1,300 crore to build processing facilities in the centre. The annual output of the hatchery would be around 5,750,000,000 metric tons of seedlings, while the annual output of the fish farm would be about 1,250,000 metric tons of fish. According to authorities, supporting local farmers would allow for the production of two lakh metric tons of fish feed from rice, maize, groundnut, soybean, and chicken waste.
