Telangana's 3 crore people are ruled by their families, according to KTR.
To refute the claim of "family rule" made by the opposition, KTR argued that Telangana was a "family" consisting of three crore people, with the Chief Minister at the helm.
Despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigning in every nook and cranny of the State and the Congress continuing its mudslinging politics, Industries Minister KT Rama Rao predicted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would win a third term in office thanks to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi's 60 lakh-strong cadres.
The Minister responded to the opposition's claim of "family rule" by saying that Telangana was a family of three crore people, with the Chief Minister serving as the family patriarch. He said, "In this context, yes, there is a family rule in Telangana," stressing that K Chandrashekhar Rao could remain in power for a third term because of the support of his family.
On Wednesday, he made these remarks at the Atmeeya Sammelanam in Maddikunta village, praising Telangana as an example of how to implement welfare and development programmes effectively across the country. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi had claimed that Telangana had put development on the back burner, he said, and he responded by listing Telangana's accomplishments in various fields, such as the rise in per capita income from Rs.1.24 lakh in 2014 to Rs.3.15 lakh in 2022.
I dared the Prime Minister and any member of the BJP to name a State that has done better than Telangana over the past nine years. No one had answered my question about why no Chief Minister before K. Chandrashekhar Rao instituted Rythu Bandhu or provided free electricity to farmers 24 hours a day, seven days a week," he said.
The Minister urged the audience to compare the situation before and after the BR's government came to power in Telangana, noting that farm land prices had increased sharply in the State due to the provision of water and power. He emphasised that small and marginal farmers were feeling optimistic about the future because the price of land had dropped to around Rs.25 lakh per acre.
By 2022, Modi said he would have doubled farmers' incomes. Farmers' problems in other parts of the country, he said, had doubled without any increase in income.
In Sircilla, KTR remembers old times.
On Wednesday at the Atmeeya Sammelanam in Rajanna Sircilla, BRS working president KT Rama Rao touched the crowd's hearts by recalling the district's outpouring of love and support for him.
The credit for my political birth should be shared between my mother, Mustabad gadda and Rajanna Sircilla gadda. When asked how he felt about receiving so much support, he said, "I will always be indebted for all the love and affection. "He reflected on how, back in 2009, he was largely unknown and was only recognised as the son of K Chandrashekhar Rao. There have been four elections in the last fifteen years. While his margin of victory in the first election was only 171 votes, his majority in the second was over 68,000. The majority was 54,000 when Telangana was formed in 2014. You elected me in 2018 with an unprecedented 89,000-vote margin of victory, despite coordinated efforts by all opposition parties. Thanks to your favour and encouragement, he said I am recognised as Rajanna Sircilla MLA.
