Telugu Movie Beats American Movie At The Box Office

While Hollywood is ringing the cash register, regional content will help in the revival of the box office business.

The proof of this is the collections of the recently released Tollywood flick Solo Brathuke So Better, the first big Tollywood release after lockdown.

Tollywood star Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh featured Solo Brathuke So Better is a romantic drama. The movie was released on 25th December on the occasion of Christmas and the flick is winning the hearts of the movie lovers.

The film also has Ajay Naresh, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Sathya, and Kalyani Natarajanare also part of this flick. Now as per the latest report the film Solo Brathuke So Better has beaten the Hollywood movie, Wonder Woman 1984 at the box office.

Wonder Woman 1984 is based on the DC Comics character Wonder Woman, which is the 9th installment in the DC Extended Universe.

Solo Brathuke So Better, has surpassed the first weekend collections of the American movie Wonder Woman 1984. Both the films were released on 25th December. Solo Brathuke So Better was released on nearly 400 screens across the twin Telugu states, collected a gross of over Rs 11 Cr till Sunday whereas Wonder Woman 1984 was released on over 800 screens across the country and in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, collected Rs 8 Cr in its opening weekend.

So, Sai Dharam Tej starrer surpassed the collections of Wonder Woman 1984.
