Telugu Rights Of Rashmika Mandanna’s Pogaru Sold In Crores

‘Karnataka Crush’ Rashmika Mandanna is the most happening actress in Tollywood with a bunch of big-ticket projects in her kitty. To cash in on her popularity in the Telugu states, the filmmakers of her latest Kannada flick ‘Pogaru’ have helmed the project as a bilingual and D Prathap Raju for a massive Rs 3.30 crore has acquired the Telugu rights.

The action entertainer Pogaru starring Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika Mandanna is a highly anticipated Sandalwood biggie. Helmed by Nanda Kishore, and produced by BK Gangadhar, the mass entertainer also have Ravi Shankar, Mayuri, Chikkanna, and Kuri Pratap in crucial roles along with Daali Dhananjay as the lead antagonist.

This is certainly an eye-popping amount as Dhruva Sarja is not a known face to the local audience and the sole crowd-puller has to be Rashmika.

In the month of August, as a part of promotional activities, the makers released the song Karabuu from Pogaru. The song has been one of the most popular songs this year in the Kannada film industry.

The peppy number hit the bull’s eye with the masses by clocking in a huge 100 Million views of its Telugu version. Chandan Shetty composed this song; Anurag Kulkarni sings the Telugu song with lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar.

The director revealed that he is planning to bring out the flick to the theaters on Dec 25 or Jan 14.
