Ten BRS MLAs Defect to Congress, Shocking KCR
In a surprising development for Telangana's BRS party, ten of its MLAs have switched allegiance to the Congress, causing a significant setback for party leader KCR. The legislators who have made this switch include
Kadiyam Srihari from Ghanpur Station,
Danam Nagender from Khairatabad,
Tellam Venkat Rao from Bhadrachalam,
Pocharam Srinivas Reddy from Banswada,
M Sanjay Kumar from Jagtial,
Kale Yadaiah from Chevella,
Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy from Gadwal,
Prakash Goud from Rajendra Nagar,
Gudem Mahipal Reddy from Patancheru,
and Arekapudi Gandhi from Serilingampally.
This mass defection occurred in the presence of Telangana's Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy. Reports suggest that this trend might continue, with as many as 25-26 additional BRS MLAs reportedly in discussions to join the Congress in the near future.
