Thalaivi Release Postponed

Thalaivi is the biopic of late actress and CM of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa, is one of the much anticipated films of the film industry. Yesterday the makers of the upcoming film, Thalaivi announced that they are postponing the release of the movie starring National award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut, due to the rising Coronavirus cases across India.
The team of the upcoming film, took to social media and said, “Since the movie has been made in multiple languages, we would like to release the film in all languages on the same day, but with an alarming rise in Coronavirus cases and pandemic situation, the precautions and lockdowns, even though our film is ready for release on 23rd April, we ourselves want to extend all the support towards government rules and have finalized to postpone the release of Thalaivi.” The statement has been signed by the makers of the film, Shaailesh R Singh , Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Zee Studios.
Thalaivi is directed by A L Vijay, and the screenplay is written by Rajat Arora , K V Vijayendra Prasad, and Madhan Karky. The movie also features Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj and Bhagyashree in crucial roles.
