The 17th of September will be National Integration Day in Telangana: KTR
KT Rama Rao, who is the Minister of Industries and the Working President of the BRS, said on Sunday that September 17 will be marked all over the State as National Integration Day in a big way.
At an event in Hyderabad, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would join in the celebrations. In addition, the state government would put on different events in all district capitals to celebrate Integration Day.
On that day, ministers would raise the national flag in each area. In the same way, he said, all party members would plan big events in their own areas. Every part of life was given a racial or religious tint, and plans were made to cause trouble in society. He said that people should be careful about such cheap political tricks.
On September 17, 1948, Telangana joined the Indian union. This marked the end of the kingdom and the beginning of freedom. He said that everyone in Telangana still remembers the great event of the change from royalty to political freedom.
But bad people were trying to get their own way in politics by twisting the meaning of September 17, which was a day for the country to come together. He said that political opportunists who had nothing to do with the history and events of that time were twisting and slandering Telangana's great past for their own gain.
