The Gmail mobile app now includes native translation features from Google.
In a Workspace Updates weblog on Tuesday, the tech giant announced the addition of a native translation integration inside the Gmail mobile app. This will allow users to interact fluently in a variety of languages.
In every language, this "highly requested feature" will facilitate reading and comprehension of conversations. A user need just tap the "Translate" button in the banner's movable section and then pick their desired language to have their messages translated while on the go.
Gmail users may choose languages to always translate or never translate. Furthermore, there is no administrative oversight for this function.
A new feature for Gmail was introduced last month that enables users to negotiate time directly in the email service.
Users will find this functionality useful when coordinating appointments with clients, business associates, or coworkers whose personal Google Calendars are hidden from their view.
In June, Google announced an update to its mobile app that will improve search results for Gmail, making it easier for users to locate old messages or files.
According to Google, this function makes it easier to discover relevant results.
The "Help me write" app was also made available on Android and iOS for Gmail users who participated in Google's Workspace Labs initiative.
