The Royal Air Force lands in Hyderabad
On Wednesday, a flight of four Typhoon fighter jets and a Voyager tanker from the Royal Air Force (RAF) made a refuelling halt at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
This extraordinary event highlights the strengthening defence partnership between the United Kingdom and India.
The British Deputy High Commissioner to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Gareth Wynn Owen, took to social media to express his delight at this significant development.
He wrote in a tweet, "Hello Royal Air Force! A flight that included four typhoons and one voyager refuelled at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. "Evidence of the expanding cooperation between the British and Indian air forces"
