The air pollution in Hyderabad is the worst in South India.

Hyderabad and Telangana are making all the right noises worldwide because they are growing and improving in every way. But I have some bad news.
After COVID, the number of personally owned cars has grown to a problematic level, and the city has been dealing with endless traffic jams and detours. While the people of Hyderabad are trying to figure out how to deal with this new situation, they hear that the capital of Telangana has been named the most dirty city in all of south India.
A study from Greenpeace India says that the amounts of PM 2.5 are 8.2 times higher than what the World Health Organization (WHO) says is healthy. The study said that high amounts mean that people's health will be hurt in the long run.
PM 2.5 in Hyderabad is 40.91ug/m3, but only 29.01ug/m3 in Bangalore and 23.81ug/m3 in Chennai. Hyderabad measured 57.84 ug/m3 of PM10 pollution, three times the safe amount.
Now is the time for people to start taking public transportation. If we don't, we'll be another south-east Asian city where people have bad health.
