The first quarrel between TDP and Janasena
Behind the scenes, TDP and Janasena are talking about sharing seats. All eyes are on how many and where Janasena will run for office. These seats are very important because the interests of the TDP and Janasena intersect in many places.
The first fight like this will take place in Tenali. Senior leaders from both the TDP and the Janasena party want this spot. Their names are Nadendla Manohar and Alapati Raja.
This week, Manohar said that he will run for office from the Tenali seat and wants to make Tenali a "model constituency."
Alapati Raja also said recently that he will be running from Tenali. "YSR Congress MLA Annabathuni Siva Kumar says that some people are glad that I won't be running. But their joy will not last long.
Both are interested, so it's up to Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to decide what to do.
One of them will have to give up something, and it needs to be seen who that is.
Surveys show that Raja is more popular and that Nadendla has been out of touch with his constituents since 2014.
Chandrababu should try to persuade Pawan Kalyan not to give Nadendla a place by promising him a spot in the cabinet if the alliance wins.
