The statue of Dr Ambedkar in Hyderabad has broken a Guinness record.
The Telangana government's decision to erect a 125-foot-tall statue of Dr BR Ambedkar in the middle of Hyderabad city has received great praise from around the country. Minister Koppula Eshwar, acting on behalf of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, was given a certificate acknowledging the statue's recognition by the High Range Book of World Records.
The inclusion of the Ambedkar statue in the High Range Book of World Records has been lauded by Minister Eshwar. Through various outlets, Indian expatriates have expressed their gratitude to the state administration. The minister believes the statue will draw many visitors in the following days.
Attendees included Haricharan, Vice Chairman of the Jagital Zilla Parishad, SC Corporation Chairman Banda Srinivas, numerologist Daivagna Sharma, and Srikanth and Suman Palle, directors of the High Range Book of World Records.
