This Actor Wants To Launch His Own OTT Platform?

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s recently released film, Wild Dog is performing exceptionally well on the OTT streaming app, Netflix. The movie is doing well and has been on the top of the trending list for the past few days and is showing no signs of coming down just yet. Excited with the response of the film, Wild Dog is getting, actor Nagarjuna is thinking seriously about the idea of launching his own OTT platform.

Annapurna Studious, managed by Nagarjuna is producing half a dozen small projects which are releasing in the OTT platform. His initial plan is to sell these films to other OTT platforms. But now that the actor had recognized the reach and logistics of digital streaming platforms, and the interest audience and the viewers are showing to watch the films on OTT streaming apps he wants to launch his own OTT platform and release these movies on the same.

He is in talks with his close friends and discussions about starting up a new OTT platform. The process is progressing at a brisk pace. Further details are still awaited.
