This Actress Walks With Rahul Gandhi

We are aware of the news that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has taken up Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is now happening in Telangana state. The Yatra will cover 19 Assembly and 7 Parliamentary constituencies spanning about 375 km, before entering Maharashtra on Nov 7.

Tollywood actress Poonam Kaur today joined his yatra. The actress walked with the MP and explained the problems of handloom workers to him and requested Mr Gandhi to lift the 5 % GST imposed on handlooms by the central government, remove taxes on goods and reduce gas prices.

Students from Osmania University also participated in this event with the leader. The Bharat Jodo Yatra that started on September 7 from Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari completed 52 days on Oct 29.
