This Singer Pays Rs 1 Cr Alimony

Popular singer and rapper Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar ended their 11 years of marriage. Delhi’s Saket Court granted them divorce on Friday.

Back in 2021, the couple approached the court and sought a divorce when his wife Shalini accused the singer and his family of domestic violence.

However, what caught everyone’s attention was the huge amount paid by Honey Singh to his ex-wife.

As per the recent reports, a whopping amount of Rs 1 crore was paid by the singer to Shalini as alimony.

During the hearing of the case in the court, Honey Singh handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore as alimony to Shalini in a sealed envelope and the next hearing is going to take place on 20th March 2023.

Honey Singh and Shalini started dating in 2001, and tied the knot in 2011. After the marriage, she alleged that she was physically and mentally abused by Honey Singh’s family. However, he has denied all the allegations.
