Tollywood Associate Director Passed Away

Kumar Vatti, who is popular for directing MaaAbbayi, which has Sree Vishnu and Chitra Shukla has passed away on Thursday after suffering from complications of Coronavirus at GEMS, Srikakulam. The director was suffering from Coronavirus for the last few days and he was 39, hailed from Narasannapeta town, Srikakulam.
Kumar started his career in the film industry by assisting Parasuram Petla on films such as Solo, Anjaneyulu and Saarocharu. The director had also worked as an assistant editor in Marthand K Venkatesh’ team on over thirty films and also worked at Suresh Productions and Super Good Films and later he turned director with MaaAbbayi which was released in 2017.
Currently he was working as an associate director on Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is directed by Prasuram of Geetha Govindam fame, at the time of his passing. Virata Parvam director Venu Udugula confirmed the news officially of sudden demise of Kumar Vatti on twitter and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the their family.
