Tollywood Hero to Turn Cross-gender for his Next!

Young actor Raj Tarun who has no recent hits has now expressed his interest to act in Telugu remake of Bollywood super hit film ‘Dream Girl’. Dream Girl which was made with just Rs 30 crores budget has collected Rs 158.99 crores at the box office in Hindi. Being a comedy film, Dream Girl has earned the love of fun lovers. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana as a cross-gender person whose female voice impersonation attracts attention from others. Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz played supporting roles. Now, if everything goes well, Raj Tarun will be seen as a cross-gender in this remake film!

It is really a challenging role. It seems Raj Tarun wants to prove his mettle by choosing a unique role that no one tried in Tollywood earlier. According to the sources, producer Suresh Babu has acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film. It is said that Raj Tarun and Suresh Babu have teamed up for this project and Raj Tarun has already started preparing for the role. On the other side, Raj Tarun is going to be seen in the film ‘Iddari Lokam Okate’ which is directed by GR Krishna.

Touted to be a romantic comedy film, Iddari Lokam Okate is produced by Dil Raju and Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey is playing the female lead. Shalini who was lastly seen in Kalyan Ram’s 118 is also playing a crucial role in Anushka’s Silence.
