Tragic loss of two Indian students in Oklahoma

On Tuesday, two University of Texas students from India drowned at a popular tourist destination in Oklahoma. According to the Davis Police, foreign exchange students died at Turner Falls, near Davis.
One of them was struggling in a pool near the falls and the others who ventured into the water to help him, they were eventually overtaken by the strong force of water and did not appear to resurface.
Police said they weren't wearing life jackets. The state Medical Examiner's Office on Wednesday identified the two as 23-year-old Ajay Kumar Koyalamudi and 22-year-old Teja Koushik Voleti. As per the records, the two students are from India who attended the University of Texas at Arlington. Two other people from India drowned at Turner Falls during the July Fourth holiday weekend. The City of Davis, 70 miles (110 kilometers) south of Oklahoma City, hired no lifeguards for the popular swimming hole this year.
