Trump’s Real Estate Empire in India Set for Massive Expansion

Despite former U.S. President Donald Trump’s tough stance on trade with India during his term, his real estate brand is thriving in the country. Trump-branded properties are set to expand significantly, with projected sales reaching ₹15,000 crore. Currently, four Trump Tower projects are completed in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata, covering 3.5 million square feet. Six more projects are planned in cities like Noida, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and more.
Trump’s business operates on a brand licensing model in India, allowing Indian developers to use the Trump name in exchange for a fee, while they fund, build, and sell the properties. Tribeca Developers, led by Kalpesh Mehta, is the main Indian partner and has collaborated with major real estate players like Lodha Group and Panchshil Realty.
Upcoming highlights include:
Trump World Center in Pune: A commercial project featuring twin towers, a luxury shopping street, and India’s first Trump Club.
India’s first Trump-branded golf course and villas: Location yet to be disclosed.
New Trump World Towers: Planned in Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune.
With 10 projects in total, India will become the largest Trump-branded real estate market outside the U.S., signaling growing investor interest and brand appeal despite political controversies.
