Two New Ministers of Andhra Pradesh
After Chandrababu Naidu had a break up with BJP, two BJP ministers resigned from the state cabinet and the positions are vacant to date. Now, Mr Naidu appointed two new ministers in their place.
In the plan of expanding the cabinet, Naidu has appointed Kidari Sravan Kumar and SMD Farooq as new ministers.
Sravan would be allocated the Tribal Welfare portfolio, Farooq would get Minority Welfare Ministry and Health Ministry.
To say, Kidari Sravan Kumar got a wonderful opportunity to be a minister though he is not the member of Assembly or Council.
In 1995, Nandamuri Hari Krishna got into the cabinet in a similar way and now, its Sravan turn. Sravan Kumar is son of MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao who was brutally killed by maoists recently. He was born in Araku and belongs to ST community and has taken oath in English.
On the other side, Farooq had first elected as MLA in 1985 and served as a minister in NTR's cabinet. Also, he had held Sugar portfolio along with Waqf board at that time.
He had also worked as Deputy Speaker and now, he is the MLC. He took oath in Telugu.
