U.S. Grocery Store Shooting Claims Life of Andhra Pradesh Man

A 32-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh, Dasari Gopikrishna, was one of four people killed in a shooting at a grocery store in Arkansas, USA.
Gopikrishna, a native of Bapatla district, had moved to the U.S. eight months ago and was working at the Mad Butcher grocery store in Fordyce, Arkansas. On June 21, a gunman opened fire in the store. Gopikrishna, who was at the billing counter, sustained critical injuries and died in the hospital the next day. His family in Yajali, Karlapalem mandal, Bapatla district, was devastated by the news. Gopikrishna leaves behind a wife and a son.
The incident resulted in four deaths and nine injuries. CCTV footage showed the assailant entering the store, shooting Gopikrishna at the counter, jumping over the counter, and escaping after taking something from the shelf.
