U.S Visit Visas: Problem Continues And Might Take Over 994 Days

Everyone wishes to visit the U.S. at least once on a business trip or even as a tourist. The place has unique vibes and beautiful areas that people can explore. This might sound very pleasing and calming, but the process you must go through is more complex. Yes, you will have to wait almost 1000 days to make your wish come true.

The problems with visas are not very new, but the waiting period for this is becoming a matter of concern at the international level after the post covid times. Covid has not only hit the economy but has also affected the workforce working in the U.S. Embassy. The staff has been reduced, and this has completely slowed down the process for the issue of visas.

Currently, the waiting period for getting the tourist and business visas is 31 months in Mumbai, 994 days in Hyderabad, 948 days in Chennai, 961 days in Delhi, and 908 days in Kolkata. Union Minister S Jaishankar also discussed the matter with his U.S. counterparts. The only good thing in this matter is that this waiting period is for first-timers.
