Dhaka: The ongoing unrest in Bangladesh has taken a grim turn as the bodies of 29 people, including 20 leaders of the ruling Awami League, were discovered across the country, according to local reports on Wednesday. The violence, which has engulfed various parts of Bangladesh, has led to a series of tragic incidents, with at least 10 people killed in the Satkhira district and another 11 losing their lives in mob attacks in Comilla.
The unrest has also triggered widespread destruction, with homes and businesses of Awami League members being targeted. The violence has escalated to the point where even police forces have reported multiple incidents of arson in various cities.
