Upasana Adopts Elephant ‘Rani’!

Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni who is a businesswoman is also a great animal lover. The actress surprised everyone by adopting an Elephant named Rani for one year on her birthday. She handed over a cheque of Rs. 5 lakhs to N. Kshitija, curator of Nehru Zoo Park in Hyderabad.
Besides humans, COVID19 has also affected animals. The Zoos were also struggling as no visitors are allowed during the COVID19 which resulted in a loss. There is a need that celebrities, businessmen, and those people who can help should take a step, taking Upasana as an inspiration. According to the sources, the Zoo has suffered a loss of Rs 5 crore and looking out for help.
Upasana adopted elephant Rani for one year by paying Rs 5 lakhs while Ravi Venkataraman, CEO of Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Ltd, on Saturday, adopted a male Royal Bengal tiger named 'Prabhas' for one year by donating a cheque of Rs l lakh.
Ram Charan wished her wife on the occasion saying, “Your act of kindness, no matter how small, is never wasted. hope you continue to do so..as rewards will follow. Happy birthday!!” On the film front, Ram Charan is going to be seen in RRR in which Alia Bhatt is pairing opposite him. Also, he will be seen in Chiru’s Acharya in an extended cameo role.
