Uplifting Of Rythu Bandhu Scheme - KCR

In the speech by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, on the occasion of Telangana formation day, gave farmers an encouragement by raising Rs 6,900 crore under Rythu Bandhu Scheme.
The earlier amount which was provided to the farmers was Rs 4000, now after the announcement by the Chief Minister the enhanced amount would be Rs 5000 per acre for both Rabi and Kharif crops. The amounts will be directly deposited in the accounts of farmers, and it is the state official’s duty to ensure that.
The agriculture ministry issues guidelines, according to which Rythu Bandhu Scheme funds will be audited under e-Kuber. The concerned collector has to form committees, wherein complains of the farmers at Mandal, Divisional and District level would be attended.
Partha Sarathi, agriculture principle secretary released the guidelines for the scheme.
The Pass books have been distributed to round about 58.33 lakh farmers, who own 1.43 cr acres cultivable lands. There is an estimate that the farmers, during the rainy season take about 1.08 cr acres of land for cultivation and 31.92 lakh acres during Yasangi.
