Uppena Trailer Released By RRR Star!

The trailer of director Buchi Babu Sana’s Uppena, featuring Vaishnav Tej, Krithi Shetty and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, was launched today by Jr NTR. Sharing the trailer of the film on his social media, Jr. NTR wrote, “Happy to present #UppenaTrailer. Good luck my brother Vaisshnav. Best wishes to producers @MythriOfficial and director Buchi @BuchiBabuSana, @IamKrithiShetty, versatile actor @VijaySethuOfflGaru and @ThisIsDSP!”

The 2-min-10-sec long intense trailer showcased the story of a young couple in love finding opposition from the female lead’s family. Vijay Sethupathi essays a menacing overlord who will not support the relationship, while Vaishnav and Krithi essay the young couple in love with innocence.

The actor looks good as a happy-go-lucky village guy and Krithi Shetty looks very pretty and has the right kind of demeanor for a true love drama.

The trailer hints at a story of caste disparity honour killing, Dorasaani, Palasa 1978, Colour Photo and more. This movie is Buchi Babu, Vaishnav and Krithi’s debut in Tollywood industry. The movie has the music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and will be releasing on February 13, right on time for Valentine’s Day.

The film is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writing. The upcoming film, Uppena was supposed to hit screens last year but was postponed due to the pandemic situation and the consequent shutdown of theatres. However, with theatres reopening now, the makers of the film announced the release date.

Despite the delay in their debut film’s release, the lead pair already have other films in their kitty.
