Uppena’s First Wave – Impressive BGM!

With Uppena, Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his acting debut as a hero. The film has started long back and now, an interesting update is released. The first wave (glimpse) of the film has been released and getting a positive response all over. We can see a glimpse of lead actors but what is making people fall in love is the background music of Devi Sri Prasad. Devi once again proved that he is the only one who can make any kind of tune that impresses everyone. Let it be a mass beat or a pleasant melody, Devi can do it effortlessly with his heart!

Though a few recent films of Devi haven’t gained a positive response, it seems Uppena will fetch him more offers with great music. Viewers are watching Upenna’s first wave multiple times just for Devi’s BGM. The video has gained 65K Views with 7K likes on YouTube. The hero is seen standing at the sea, shouting something and the face of the lead actress is shown partially.

Speaking about the film, Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing a villain in the film while Krithi Shetty is the lead actress. Uppena is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, while Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, under Mythri Movie Makers, have bankrolled it. Sukumar is presenting the film under Sukumar Writings banners. Shamdat Sainudeen did camera work, while Naveen Nooli has handling editing. Mounika Ramakrishna is the art director. Anil Y and Ashok B are executive producers.

Uppena was announced in January 2019 and the film’s launch happened on 21 January 2019 that was attended by Chiranjeevi, Nagendra Babu, Allu Arjun, and Sai Dharam Tej and other mega family members. Initially, debutant Manisha Raj was announced as the lead actress but later, for unknown reasons, she was replaced with another debutant Krithi Shetty. Now, the film has completed its shoot and is all set for a release on 2 April 2020.
