Director: Venu Sriram
Cast: Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagella, Pawan Kalyan, and Shruti Haasan
Story: Vakeel Saab is the story of three women who were sexually assaulted by a man. How the girl escapes from him, how he takes revenge on her, and how Pawan Kalyan enters and helps the girl forms the story.
Review:
Pawan Kalyan did a commendable job as a lawyer. His voice modulation and dialogues are the main highlight. Prakash Raj as a defence lawyer is perfect. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Ananya Nagella showcased the emotions in a good manner and elevated the film with their performance. Thaman’s BGM is connective. The credit must be given to director Venu Sriram for narrating the story beautifully. Production values are good as the makers haven’t compromised anywhere. The only thing that bores audience is the flashback episode that features Shruti Haasan.
Plus:
Emotions
Performances
Direction
BGM
Production values
Minus:
Flashback episode
Verdict:
On the whole, except for the flashback episode, Vakeel Saab is a good message-oriented film which makes you emotional and understand many things about the girls. And if you are someone who doesn’t know the power of ‘No’, Vakeel Saab is for you!
