Venkatesh Starrer Officially Postponed

After April releases of the films got postponed in Tollywood industry, even the May releases are now following the same. The release of Venkatesh and Priyamani starrer Narappa has now been postponed from May 14 as the country is facing a spike in Covid-19 cases during the second wave of Covid. The team of the movie released an official statement.
Narappa was planned to hit the screens on May 14. But, due to the rising cases in India, the makers have postponed it and a new date for the theatrical release will be announced only once the situation get back to normal. Below is the statement issued by the makers of Narappa.
The film Narappa is helmed by Srikanth Addala and is a remake of Vetrimaaran’s Dhanush starrer Asuran. The movie tells about the story of a family living in a village disturbed under caste oppression. The posters of the film that have already been released see Venkatesh in a rustic, mass look.
The film also has Priyamani, Rao Ramesh, Rajeev Kanakala, and others in supporting roles. The cinematography is taken care by Syam K Naidu. Mani Sharma is scoring the tunes for the movie that will also see Karthik Rathnam of Kancharapalem fame in a lead role, which is being jointly produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions and V Creations Banner.
