Veteran Actor's Daughter to Make Tollywood Debut

It is quite common for star sons to follow in the footsteps of their fathers and join the film industry. But it is a bit rare that we see daughters of heroes entering the industry. Though it is becoming common in Bollywood, we rarely see this happening in Tollywood. Earlier, Niharika, daughter of actor Naga Babu, made her debut. However, she failed to get the star status like other actresses who come to the industry on their own.

Recently, actor Rajasekhar’s daughter Shivatmika Rajasekhar also made her debut with the film Dorasani. Though the film got an average response, the actress garnered praise by everyone for her acting skills. And now, another star kid will make her debut in Tollywood. Senior actor Arjun, who is currently playing negative roles in the movies, will introduce his daughter Aishwarya Arjun to the Telugu film industry.

Aishwarya made her debut with a Tamil film Pattathu Yaanai in 2013. And then she was seen in a romantic film Sollividava. In 2018, she made her Kannada debut with the film Prema Baraha and was nominated for SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Actor in a Leading Role (Female) - Kannada. She also got Filmibeat Award for Best Debutant Actress (Kannada) for the same film. Now, she is making her Tollywood debut. Interestingly, Arjun himself is directing this flick.

Speaking about Arjun, he will be seen in a Tamil film Hero, starring Siva Karthikeyan in the lead. He is also playing a key role in a multi-lingual film Kontract. This film is titled as Iddaru in Telugu and Iruvar Oppantham in Tamil. Besides these two films, Arjun will be playing crucial roles in a Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte and a Tamil film Jana Gana Mana. On the personal front, Arjun has faced MeToo allegations as Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan accused the actor of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior on the sets of a film.
