'Victimized for 10 years ' , says suicide note of IPS officer who blamed Mamta Bannerjee for abetment
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been accused of abetment in a suicide note of a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Gaurav Dutt from the West Bengal cadre who committed suicide earlier this week
In his suicide note, Dutt wrote, “CM refuses to close my 2 pending proceeding [sic] cases. One case file is lost deliberately by WB govt. In the 2nd case, no corruption charge could be substantiated. Even DG [director general] requested CM but she refused to close cases. Present CM WB has victimized me for 10 years and went all out to demoralise me due to her single-minded vendetta against me for reasons best known to her".
He also alleged that the CM has blocked his savings and he took this step so that the government understands honest officers problems and if he cannot live with honour he can atleast die with honour and post this atleast his family can get his savings.
This is a major blow to the WB CM and that too when the Lok Sabha elections are nearing. However, the government has not yet given any official statement on the incident.
