Vijay Deverakonda Calls PM Modi a “Powerhouse of a Man” on 75th Birthday

South Indian star Vijay Deverakonda joined the wave of tributes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, calling him “one powerhouse of a man, filled with energy and always on a mission.” In a heartfelt post on X, Deverakonda extended his respects and wished the Prime Minister long life and good health.

While the birthday wishes poured in, PM Modi marked the occasion with significant national initiatives. Visiting Bhainsola village in Madhya Pradesh, he laid the foundation stone for India’s first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park, part of a plan to establish seven such hubs nationwide. The project aims to revolutionize India’s textile industry, boosting employment and exports.

Additionally, Modi launched Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month). These initiatives are set to strengthen health and nutrition services, particularly for women, children, and adolescents. Over one lakh health camps will be held between September 17 and October 2, in what is being called India’s largest-ever health outreach program.

The camps will focus on screenings for anaemia, tuberculosis, sickle cell disease, and non-communicable illnesses, alongside maternal and adolescent care. Specialized services in gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, and dermatology will be offered, while nationwide blood donation drives will be coordinated via the e-Raktkosh portal.
