Vijay Deverakonda Remuneration Revealed For Liger

The young hero Vijay Deverakonda is making his debut in Bollywood with an action movie Liger, which is also being made in Telugu. In this movie Arjun Reddy fame actor is sharing the screen space with Bollywood actress Ananya Panday.

As per the latest report, Vijay is getting Rs 35 Cr to essay the lead role in the upcoming movie Liger which is being helmed by Puri Jagannadh of ismart Shankar fame.

Boxing Legend Mike Tyson is also making a cameo appearance in the climax portions of the upcoming movie. Vijay Deverakonda will be seen as an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter with a stutter and this movie is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Charmme Kaur, Hiroo Yash Johar and Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.

Few days ago, the makers of the film, Liger released the teaser that introduced the actor’s character — a ‘slumdog’ from Mumbai–who rises up the ranks to apparently compete in an MMA championship in Las Vegas. The teaser also gave a glimpse of his ‘chaiwallah’ past, and briefly looks at his rowdy antics on the streets.

The film, Liger will be released on 25th August in Telugu, Malayalam,Tamil and Kannada.
