Vijay Mallya faces humiliation in public during World Cup
Vijay Mallya (CEO Kingfisher) who current has been wanted on absconding charges in India, faced humiliation from the Cricket fans in the UK. Mr. Mallya is also being trailed in a court in the UK for similar charges. His humiliation reached its peak when Cricket fans spotted Mallya at the Oval stadium, watching World cup match between Australia and India.
The moment Mallya was about to leave the stadium he was surrounded by cricket fans who were enchanting “Chor hai” slogans for him. At the time of incidence, Mr. Mallya was accompanied by his mother.
On being asked about his feedbacks related to the chants from the crowd, Mr. Mallya only commented that he wanted to ensure that his mother is left safe by the crowd.
As per sources, Mr. Mallya had been at the Oval stadium to watch the match between India and Australia. Right that moment, he was also questioned by reporters about his ongoing extradition case.
When questioned, Mr. Mallya commented that he was only there to watch the match. Apart from this, he also commented that he was all prepared and set for courts next hearing. It is expected that the court has scheduled the next date for hearing in July month.
As per sources in the UK, it is obvious that Mallya faces criminal offenses and charges against conspiracy planning, fraud, and money laundering. As per his initiatives, Mr. Mallya has till date failed in providing with sufficient shreds of evidence in his favor in the court. He also stated that currently he is being harassed on political grounds. He was also not granted permission for pleading against the Indian authorities for canceling his extradition order.
