Devi Sri Prasad, who composed tunes recently for Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru, has been roped in to compose music for this film. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, who worked for Nani’s Gang Leader, is handling cinematography, while Karthika Srinivas is doing editing. Initially, Sukumar announced this project with Mahesh Babu as SSMB26. But, due to creative differences, Mahesh walked out of the project and worked with Anil Ravipudi for Sarileru Neekevvaru. Later Sukumar announced the project going ahead with Allu Arjun, with minor changes being made in the script.
Allu Arjun has bagged success through his recent flick Ala Vaikunthapuramulo. The film is collecting superb amounts at the box office and has got a positive response for Allu Arjun’s style and attitude, Thaman’s music, and Trivikram’s narration. Despite competition with Mahesh’s Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is running successfully in theatres and even surpassed the box office collections of Mahesh’s film in the US.
