Telangana is responsible for producing 1.3 million (or 33%) of India's total 4.50 lakh IT employment. He said it rose to 44% in the past year.

Similarly, YV Subba Reddy, chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, was taken aback to learn that Telangana is the most productive state in terms of inland fishing. The Minister revealed that the Chief Minister had made preparations to ensure that Hyderabad will have enough potable water to last until the year 2050. He predicted that Hyderabad would be a metropolis free of water shortages. The Minister also stated that efforts to improve connections to and from the Metro Airport were being prioritized.
