KT Rama Rao, minister of industries, said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao introduced several revolutionary schemes and people benefited greatly, with Telangana winning laurels as a result of the effective implementation of such schemes. According to the union government's Swachh Survekshan and Grameen rankings, Telangana has the cleanest cities and towns overall.

He explained that Telangana's Rythu Bandhu was the impetus for the federal government's PM Kisan Yojana, that Mission Bhagiratha was the model for Har Ghar Jal and Nagar Vans, that Mission Kakatiya was the impetus for Amrit Sarovar. The Minister noted that both agriculture and information technology output were on the rise under the Telangana model. Telangana is responsible for producing 1.3 million (or 33%) of India's total 4.50 lakh IT employment. He said it rose to 44% in the past year.
Similarly, YV Subba Reddy, chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, was taken aback to learn that Telangana is the most productive state in terms of inland fishing. The Minister revealed that the Chief Minister had made preparations to ensure that Hyderabad will have enough potable water to last until the year 2050. He predicted that Hyderabad would be a metropolis free of water shortages. The Minister also stated that efforts to improve connections to and from the Metro Airport were being prioritized.
