Whooping Rs1.5 Crore As Remuneration For 10 Episodes Of Sam Jam

After making her TV debut with the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 4 Telugu, Oh Baby actress Samantha Akkineni is now hosting the talk show Sam Jam for OTT platform aha. The show started streaming on 13th November and Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda was the first celebrity on the show. Now as per the latest report Samantha Akkineni is charging whopping Rs 1.5 crores for the 10 episodes of the talk show Sam Jam.

In a media interaction, Samantha had said, "Doing Sam Jam is a big challenge for me, but I can say that this talk show Sam Jam is an extension of my personality. It has a purpose and a lot of heart, and It is about happiness. It is important to share happiness in these pandemic times." When She asked about the reason behind choosing an OTT platform instead of TV, Samantha replied,

"With OTT and exposure to world cinema, the options and opportunities for women are steadily increasing. We are not offered as cliched roles as we were before," said the actress. "I feel that this is the future. I don't care about the medium”, she further added.

If the latest reports are to be believed, Tamannah Bhatia, Saina Nehwal, Chiranjeevi, Rashmika Mandanna, KashyapParupalli and Allu Arjun may appear as guests in Sam Jam.

Meanwhile, Samantha will be next seen in Nandini Reddy’s directorial venture.
