Whopping Budget For Karthikeya Sequel

Nikhil Siddharth is quite happy with his personal and professional lives. This hero got engaged to his girlfriend in Goa and is getting married soon. Speaking about his acting career, he recently bagged a hit through his recent flick Arjun Suravaram which was postponed multiple times. But, after the release of the film, the audience felt that the movie was wait-worthy. According to the latest update, Nikhil will start working on Karthikeya’s sequel very soon.

Sources also revealed that the producers are spending a huge amount of Rs 13 crores on this project. The film is a socio-fantasy thriller and will have great visual effects. Chandoo Mondeti, who directed Karthikeya, is directing this sequel too and the lead actress is yet to be confirmed by the makers. Karthikeya is a mystery thriller film which was released in 2014. This film starred Swathi Reddy (colors Swathi) in the lead role.

Karthikeya was made with a budget of Rs 6 crores and collected Rs 20 crores at the box office. Since the film was a super hit, the director has planned to make the sequel, but this time with more budget. We have to wait and see if this idea fetches profits to the makers or not.

Nikhil made his debut as a lead in Happy Days movie which was a super hit. Though there were four heroes in the film, Nikhil also got a good fame along with others. Later, he appeared in Ankit, Pallavi & Friends, Yuvatha, Kalavar King, Om Shanti, Aalasyam Amrutam, Veedu Theda and Disco. But all these seven films were flops which left this hero disappointed. And then in 2013, he acted in Swamy Ra Ra that became a super hit. Later, his films Karthikeya, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and Arjun Suravaram became hits but also there were a few flops in between. Let’s hope this sequel is a hit like the original one.
