Why Suresh Raina Returned To India Amid IPL 2020 Preparation?

Chennai Super Kings star Suresh Raina returned to India on August 29, and this return has not been much pleasant and have created headlines reasoning why he returned back to India amid the IPL preparation.
CEO KS Viswanathan explains that Raina was not happy with the hotel room allotted to him in Dubai and wanted something similar to what the franchise captain MS Dhoni was staying in.
CSK owner and former BCCI president N Srinivasa said, “Cricketers are like prima donnas … like the temperamental actors of the olden days. Chennai Super Kings have always been like a family and all seniors players have learnt to co-exist”. “My thinking is that if you are reluctant or not happy, go back. I don’t force anyone to do anything … sometimes success gets into your head,” Srinivasan said.
While other news says that the murder of his relative by robbers in a village in Punjab’s Pathankot on August 20, PTI had reported that earlier on Friday that ongoing COVID-19 fears had urged him to head back home.
Meanwhile, two players had tested positive for coronavirus are Deepak Chahar and batsman Rituraj Gaikwad. Suresh Raina had announced his retirement from international cricket minutes after MS Dhoni on August 15.
