Andhra Pradesh Plans Full Rollout of WhatsApp Governance by March
The Andhra Pradesh government is aiming to expand its digital governance through WhatsApp by the end of March. During a review of the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS), IT Minister Nara Lokesh shared that 100 services are expected to be available by November, with plans to introduce document retrieval via QR codes for students within the following 90 days.
“We’re progressing quickly to bring comprehensive WhatsApp-based governance to the people by March,” Lokesh stated in an official release. This initiative would eliminate the need for physical document submissions, as all records would be digitally certified.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also directed officials to accelerate data integration efforts and ensure Aadhaar card issuance for every newborn in the state, enhancing both convenience and accessibility for citizens.
